Where we are

Come and find us

8 Northgate Street, Chester CH1 2HA

The street entrance in Chester: a black timber-framed frontage with a chalkboard A-board reading “Hesed Café — Coffee, Cake, Prayer” at the foot of a flight of stone steps leading up to the Rows.
From the street

Come up the stairs for Coffee, Comfort and Community.

The covered walkway of the Chester Rows: a wooden gallery with shopfronts along one side, tables and chairs along the other, and a chalkboard sign pointing the way to Hesed Café for all-day breakfast, coffee, cake and prayer.
On the Rows

Around the corner and toward the cathedral from the cross.

The entrance to Godstall Lane in Chester: a narrow paved lane between red brick buildings, with an ornate iron sign overhead reading “Godstall Lane — Chester’s Romantic Heart, leading to Eastgate Street.”
Step-free access

Coming in from Godstall Lane

If stairs are hard for you, there is another way in. Godstall Lane has step-free access to the café, so you can reach us without using the steps.

Look for the iron sign over the lane, and follow it round to us.
